Official OSKar membership requires the concurrent membership of either SPIE or Optica. However, it is possible to attend events without being a member. Membership of the above organizations is required for OSKar elections, applying for funding, and reduced participation costs to events.
To sign up for SPIE, go to their student membership page and sign up for a year long membership for $20.00 USD. Make sure to select that you are a member of OSKar when prompted.
To sign up for Optica, to their individual membership page and sign up for a year long student membership at $20.00 USD. Make sure to select that you are a member of OSKar when prompted.
